February 8, 2011

NORTHUMBERLAND, Pa.–(EON: Enhanced Online News)–Keystone Insurers Group and Safeco Insurance today jointly donated $5,000 to The Autism Society of America, Pa. Chapter. The funds were raised through Safeco’s Agent Giving Program.
The Safeco Agent Giving Program helps nonprofit organizations that work with youth and people with disabilities, with an emphasis on education and after-school programs, health and safety, and civic engagement. The donation will provide much-needed financial aid to families of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs).
“Keystone strongly believes it is important to support local organizations helping children with ASDs,” said Jacqueline Kovach, Keystone’s Pa. state vice president. “We are pleased that their efforts help deserving children experience a high-quality, private education.”
Kovach and Joe Lesko, Safeco assistant vice president, presented the check to Dan Torisky of The Autism Society at the Pa. Chapter’s Monroeville location. For more information about The Autism Society, Pa. Chapter, visit http://www.autismsocietypgh.org or call (412) 856-7223.
